Cancellations and Refund Policy

At Universal Car Carriers, we strive to deliver smooth and reliable car transportation services across India. Once a booking is confirmed, significant resources are allocated to ensure timely pickup, secure handling, and transportation of your vehicle. For this reason, we maintain a strict Cancellation and Refund Policy as outlined below:


1. Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to our official company email address. Cancellations made via phone or WhatsApp will not be accepted.
  • To cancel a confirmed booking, you must notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup date and time.
  • If a cancellation is made within the permitted timeframe, the following cancellation charges will apply and be deducted from your token amount:
    • ₹2,000 for Tier 1 cities
    • ₹3,000 for Tier 2, 3, 4, and 5 cities
  • No cancellations will be entertained within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup date and time. In such cases, the entire token amount paid will be forfeited with no refund.

2. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are only applicable if:
    1. The booking is canceled as per the above guidelines.
    2. Universal Car Carriers is unable to provide the agreed-upon service due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, vehicle breakdowns, or regulatory restrictions).
  • In such cases, refunds will be processed after deducting applicable cancellation charges, non-refundable charges, and/or expenses already incurred for pickup or arrangements.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of receiving a valid cancellation/refund request.
  • All refunds will be made through electronic transfer to the customer’s original mode of payment.

3. Non-Refundable Charges

  • The following charges are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances:
    • Administrative and processing fees for handling your booking.
    • Documentation and verification charges related to the consignment.
    • Any expenses incurred for vehicle pickup, labor, or logistics arrangements prior to cancellation.

These charges ensure that operational costs already incurred by the company are fairly covered.


4. Rescheduling Option

  • If your travel or relocation plans change, instead of canceling, you may choose to reschedule your booking.
  • Rescheduled bookings can be adjusted within 12 months of the original booking date at no additional penalty.
  • Any difference in cost (based on revised services, locations, or timing) will be payable by the customer.
  • Please note: If rescheduled within 48 hours of pickup, the token amount will not be refunded but adjusted against the next booking.

5. Important Notes

  • Refunds for payments made by credit card may reflect in your next billing cycle, depending on your bank.
  • Universal Car Carriers is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, such as strikes, traffic jams, or weather conditions.
